We are excited to provide this updated program to respond to needs expressed by several families for a shorter program with the same high quality of training. The updated schedule reduces the class days by only three days and continues to provide a unique opportunity to train with respected instructors and dancers and to discover a passion for dance in one of the world’s greatest cities known for its role in the history of ballet.
-Instructors will include some of the world’s best such as Professor of Vagonova Academy Irina Trofimova, and Alla Osipenko, Irina Kolpakova, Vladilen Semionov, Lyudmila Safronova, Anatoly Sidorov, Lazaro Carreño, Elena Sherstneva, Olga Poverennaya, and master class with star of Mariinsky(Kirov) Uliana Lopatkina.
-Two week program with 12 days of intensive ballet training and excursions to discover the amazing culture and history of St. Petersburg, Russia including seeing performances at the Mariinsky and Mikhailosky Theaters.
-Possible invitation to participate in Vaganova Academy entrance examinations for uniquely talented dancers identified during intensive.
-Certificate of training that will be part of dancer’s long-term resume.
-Be part of the mission to open the world to orphans and dancers by sharing the amazing art of ballet.
Students at least ten years of age are invited to audition. No maximum age.
Observers & Chaperones: Teachers & family interested in participating in this experience may apply to attend at reduced price.
AUDITIONS
Space for this program is limited to ensure that all dancers receive personal attention and get the best possible experience.

For those unable to attend any of the stops on our audition tour, a DVD may be submitted along with the application form and $30 fee. A DVD of barre and center, no longer than 10 minutes, with the student’s head and feet showing at all times (one side only) of barre exercises: plié, battements tendus, jeté, fondu, ronds de jambe en l’air, adagio, and grands battement and center exercises: tendu, adagio, pirouettes, and jumps in three sizes. Do not send performance footage or wear costume attire. We are most interested in a student's passion for dance and interest in learning.

Notification of Results
Within two weeks of an audition or receipt of an audition DVD, you will be notified of your status. Those who accept an invitation to attend should submit their $500 deposit and confirmation of their acceptance to secure enrollment

Program cost of USD $3,950* includes:
-Two weeks/ 12-days of classes with as much as six hours of daily training (based on level) with world renowned teachers

Leonids Jacobson Theater, while the company is still in season, so students can feel the energy of a professional company. You will be able to watch rehearsals of unique heritage was left by a genius choreographer who created such ballets as " Spartacus" and " Vestris", which was created especially for Baryshnikov's performance at Moscow competition and, learn and understand where neoclassical and contemporary dance came from
-Excursions that share the art, traditions, culture and more than fifteen centuries of Russian history to cultivate participants’ passion for ballet, art and for life including seeing performances at the Mariinsky and Mikhailosky Theaters
-Room and board at a world class, four star hotel in the heart of St. Petersburg near the ballet studios in the midst of many of the city’s great attractions
-Roundtrip ground transportation to and from the St Petersburg airport
-Individuals will be responsible for their own travel to
St. Petersburg including required passport and visa. Information supporting acquiring a visa will be provided with registration packet.

* Price shown anticipates enrollment and payment of deposit by March 31. Payment in full deadline of May 15. Participant enrollments after March 31 will be at a cost of $4,495 subject to availability.
Observers & Chaperones: Those interested should submit an application. No audition required. You will be notified if space is available. A $500 deposit will secure your attendance.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due upon acceptance of invitation to secure enrollment.

-March 31 - Deadline for enrollment and deposit payment for reduced participant rate.
- May 15 - All participants, observers, and chaperones fees paid in full.
- Arrival in St. Petersburg on July 20th

- Students depart on August 4th
There are participants who have expressed interest in returning early on Thursday, August 1st to attend other intensive programs. We will be able to honor these requests. Please note on your audition form.
